A die hard Gopher football fan. One day (soon) we will be watching the Gophers at The Rose Bowl.
I started writing about Gopher Football on my professional blog MN Headhunter, www.mnheadhunter.com. Mostly casual weekly updates during football season.
When Glen Mason was fired I found myself posting quite a bit during the search for a new coach.
My IT, Recruiter, HR, and business friends were not so happy with that so I started Gopher The Roses.
Juggling two blogs can be difficult to do but I will do my best to keep up.
By trade I have been a IT Recruiter since 1998 focusing on the Minneapolis and St. Paul market with some work done in Boston, New York and Silicon Valley. Working as a one man band for much of the time and enjoying almost every minute of it.
Since I started writing the business blog I have been trying to help local non profit and community organizations find technology professionals to help with volunteer needs and also to fill their open jobs.
I do quite a bit of volunteer work at the University of Minnesota teaching seminars on how to do a job/internship search and networking 101.
I have been volunteering as a chapter advisor for my fraternity Delta Kappa Epsilon and in the fraternity and sorority community for 5+ years.
